The website of the
Foreign Prisoner Support Service
is a detailed look at the myriad ways a person
travelling in a foreign country can end up on the wrong
side of the law with the most serious of consequences.
FPSS (located at
http://www.phaseloop.com/foreignprisoners/index.html)
provides ample resources for anyone who has a family
member in such a situation and many, many details about
convicted persons who are incarcerated in a country
other than their own, including contact and support
information. All-in-all, a very good read at what
can go wrong on a vacation... and, an organization very
much worthy of support. |
